Hummer history, H1 & H2

Hummer history

Hummer H1
Picture 01 : Hummer H1
Hummer was originally created for military purposes by the creator of the AM General Corporation. Hummer first generation appeared in March 1990. However, due to various reasons such military vehicles also finally made its civilian version. Hummer prototype trials civilian version (H1) was introduced in May 1990 to conduct long-distance touring from London to Beijing. The route through which one had entered the territory of the Soviet Union, weleh3x ... fortunately not until the missile struck. In 1992, AM General Corporation for the first time officially sells Hummer civilian version, named M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV ato Hum-Vee). There is no difference between the Hummer military version with a civilian version. It's just that the civilian version made more comfortable as the interior, air conditioning, audio etc. As for the chassis and suspension no change, just plek the military version. In the same year in December, AM General Corporation to sell the Hummer brand to GM. AM General Corporations still producing cars but sales and distribution entirely left to the GM.

Hummer and then entering a new phase in 2003 with the introduction of the second generation of H2. H2 body leaner, longer, taller and lighter than its predecessor H1. Then in 2006 introduced the latest models of Hummer H3. In 2008 appears again a new generation Hummer HX named. Arguably this model slightly deviates from the impression the Hummer itself. No more frightening impression. Even the body size was fairly small, smaller than H3 already small practically. Although it has the advantage of a roof and doors that can be removed to facilitate air-ria braved mud offroad fans nonetheless considers variants HX has betrayed his ancestors.
